I bought a used bedroom set and had to store it about 6 months in an outside building. The finish doesn't look very good (I didn't check it closely when bought but thought it was better than it is now). Is there a way to refresh a finish without stripping the furniture? It looks dull in places. The knobs on dresser need to be completely redone due to finish coming off. Any help will be appreciated.

You didn't say if it is painted, or a stained wood finish. If it is stained wood, you could lightly sand and re-stain to even it out. I like Minwax, because it stains and seals in one step. If the knobs are in really bad shape, they should be simple to replace. Simple wooden knobs are usually inexpensive.
