I have a Schlage Century handleset (http://www.faucet.com/product/schlage-F360CNFR-chrome-148181).
I wanted to change the interior trim to. The question I have is, do I need to buy a regular "Interior PacK" which includes:
handle
thumbturn
latches/screws
seeing as how all i need is the handle/knob and thumbturn (I have everything else from the handleset), can i save some money and just buy dummy interior? is dummy interior completely non-working or just lacking the latches/screws?

I don't know about this Schlage handleset specifically, but every dummy lever/knob/trim I've ever seen is different internally from an active lever/knob/trim, because dummy hardware usually does not require the 2-1/8" hole to mount in, but rather is surface-mounted to, in most cases, an inactive leaf of a double door. What is your situation? When you purchase a so-called "Handleset" it comes complete with inner and outer trim, latches and everything. You can even order "split finish" if you want a different finish for outside and inside. Whassup?

it would depend on the retailer. If they will sell you separate parts, then 'yes'.
you will need to confirm the position of the spindle in the interior knob/lever lines up with the existing configuration.
Sometimes it can be a special order to just get the particular parts you want....this could cost more also.

That helps. I already have a complete handleset, and just wanted to change the inside trim. Interior dummy packs are cheaper.
I thought perhaps that dummy thumbturns and handles were the same as regular working interior packs, minus the latches, screws, etc...
But it looks like I will just have to buy the regular interior pack.
