I have a Concord 4 and have lost the install/dealer code. I do have the master and user code however. Can the board be defaulted in my current situation by the keypad or by hard reset of the board somehow? I have a config. cable and programming keypad along with the normal user mounted keypad.

Thanks

I don't believe you can Clear Memory, which returns to original defaults (except for dealer code) without the Installer or dealer code. (page 44 of Installation Manual). In the Troubleshooting part of the Manual, it indicates that the Enterprise Downloader software could be used by a technician to read the Installer Code. It also iseems to ndicate that if a Dealer Code has been programmed into it, there is no way to change or retrieve, since it says if code can't be found, the panel must be replaced. (page 127)

Your only hope is the Enterprise Download software (not really a viable tool for DIYers)....If the panel has a dealer code in it and you don't know it, your hosed even with the software. If there is no dealer code, and you know the account number as well as the downloader code, then the software can be used....
