We installed 4 x 8 sheets of vinyl coated bead board panel on bathroom walls. Contracor installed with glue and staples. Air gun left some good size holes in the panel where staples went in. We purchased the vinyl coated because we did not want to paint. Is there any way to repair these staples holes? We are trying to fill with chaulk and touch up the paint but the holes still show. Any suggestions or are we going to have to paint this? If so, does the vinyl coating need to be sanded for paint to adhere? Appreciate any information...
