We replaced our old countertop which had 4" X 7" tile's as a backsplash. I also removed the old tiles and now preping for new tile. The old tile did not remove easily and took some of the gyproc paper with it in various places. I have put a skim coat of gyproc filler over most of the area to even the surface out. My question should I prime this area prior to putting up the new tile? The tile I am putting up is 12" X 24" daltile ceramic mosaic tile. ( all small pieces all held together with plastic mesh ). What type of adehsive would you recomend?
