Termite and Wood Boring Insects - Not sure if it's a termite proplem or not!

Hello i'm new to this forum here. Anyways for the last couple of years or so I noticed what looks like big or giant ants (black in color) with wings of some sort falling from my bathroom vent. Now this only happens when the weather starts warming up (during spring and summer). The weird thing is, I only see them in my bathroom only. What is your take on this. I really have no clue. All I know is i'm sick of it. I called one place and they said it would cost about $1800 to $2k to resolve this. Is this a good deal? It seems expensive to me. My house is about 1400sq feet, one story. I live in Sacramento, CA area. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Catch a few and look at them under a magnifier.

Are they flying around a bit, then dropping their wings? Prob termites if so, but I'm not familiar with the species of termites and ants in your area.
