We are building a house and in the dinning room we plan to have wainscotting under a chair rail. The color above the chair rail will be a verdigris and my question is should the wainscotting be all white? It is going to be a partial wainscotting with mostly painted wall while trim boards will create the look of wainscotting. All trim in the house will be white. I was thinking of painting the partial wainscotting wall white with a tint of the verdigris from above and leave the trim white. Or should the whole wainscotting be white?

I usually paint the whole thing with the trim paint [enamel] unless the customer specfies otherwise..... but it's your house, paint how you please;)
......and paint's cheap [compared to other things you do to improve your house] so if you don't like it, change the paint:D
