I just installed a GE Concord 4 system. My town offers free central monitoring and they gave me a list of the codes they expect to see when my system report an event. Such as code 31 for a burglar alarm set off by zone 1 front door or code 11 when the Fire panic button is hit. I can't find a list of the codes that are in this system in the manuals. :wall:Also, if the codes are different than what the city wants, how can they be changed. Can anyone direct me to an answer? Thanks.

I am posting my own answer to my question just in case someone else has the same issue. It appears the City uses the old tech "pulsed" code format of 4 + 2, where the first 4 numbers are the Account and the last 2 are the zone code that tells them what sensor or zone set off the alarm. The Concord 4 uses more current technology and the two formats it can use are Contact ID or SIA Digital II. It can't be "programmed" to use pulse format. The system will be able to contact the City and send a notice of an alarm, but it can't tell the City what the actual problem is. Oh well.
