Hi Was wondering how to get or change the installer code? I just moved into the house and there's no manual's for the alarm system I need to disable the TLM to turn off the trouble light. And of course to do anything with the alarm.

default is 5010
STAR (*) 8 5010 015 {LED / ICON 7 should be on??} if ON, press the "7" button, this will then turn off the "7" LED or ICON . The TLM is now off (be advised, other LED's / ICONS may be on, do not press anything other than stated)
Hit # several times to exit programming mode
If your no going to have it monitored- you should also disable communications:
STAR (*) 8 5010 380 {LED / ICON 1 slhould be on??} if ON, press the "1" button, this will then turn off the "1" LED or ICON ALL comunications are now OFF (be advised, other LED's / ICONS may be on, do not press anything other than stated)
Press the # several times to exit

Start with manuals:
http://www.homesecuritypro.us/manuals/dsc-manuals/P832_programsheets.pdf
http://www.homesecuritypro.us/manuals/dsc-manuals/P832_iman.pdf
You need both: The installer manual makes no sense without the programming work sheets. Especially read the section titled "How to program".
The odds are that the default code is not still in place.
With DSC panels, your only choice, other than a lucky guess at the installer code, is to do a hardware default (and then only if the installer lockout isn't set)
