I just did a self install on my new LYNXR-2 and the ready light is flashing green. I've tried using the default code 4112800 to access the program mode but nothing happens. I've even tried using 4112802, which I saw on another thread and nothing happened. Does anyone know how else I could access the program mode? I really don't want to unplug the transformer and batteries, but I'll do it if it's the only way and hold down #/*.

Questions:

Did you buy off ebay?

If from ebay, is it private labeled, i.e, monitronics, ADT etc.

Did you but from a reutable dealer?

If so, have you called them?

I would just power it down and like you said hold down the #/* key its not going to hurt anything . hit * 20 and reset the installer code
