My 1972 100Hp. Johnson overcharges at high speeds and it burns out the bridge rectifier if your on it over10 minutes. I would like to find away to install a cure for this. It do's also do damage to the battery. Anyone Help? 10 amp charging system. Turning on everything still is not cutting it.

Replace the voltage regulator.
