I have a 125gal tank in my yard, that I use only to heat my pool. I filled it in Sept and without using it at all I lost 20%
of my propane. (at least according to the guage). My propane company, came out and checked for leaks and said there are
none. Could the change in temp effect the volumn in the tank?

Short answer is Yes.
Propane companies in most cases will not fill a tank past 80% due to the possibility that the when temp changes the OFP valve will open and release propane to the air to relive the pressure..
BTW - I'm not a propane guy, this is just what I've been told. Check it again when it warms up.

It's already warmed up in Phoenix..couple of 90 degree days I think.
tnt....just wondering, how full did they fill it, and what was the temp like back then? Also...since I'm not that familiar with big tanks...is this a volume/gallons gauge..or pressure? Just trying to understand the replies when they come.
