I am going to be installing some 3/8 inch thick by 3" wide teak on a set of steps and in a hallway. I am planning on installing stair noses but im not sure the best way to do this. I had planned to nail them as well as all the flooring but I now see they dont have the nailing tongue that the planks do. I have some Bruce hardwood glue (Connection PR+) that I had used on a previous job that worked well but Im not sure it will work for this application. Anyone have any advise on the best way to attach the stair noses? Also should I try to nail the planks on the steps or glue them down as well.

It is best to glue with urathane adhesive such as liquid nail or PL.

Your steps should be fully glued with hardwood flooring glue, and the nosings nailed near the back of the piece. the connection pr+ glue will work, but I would suggest using an adhesive that was made less than a year ago- that pr+ glue has surely past the shelf life. Using liquid nails will give you loose, squeaky steps, so I don't recommend it.
