I have a Frigidaire FDEB23RGS1. I have had it for almost 10 years and bought it new in 1999. Yesterday the turn knob broke off and I believe took part of the start switch with it. The area it broke from is now flat and looking at pictures of parts, I believe that the start switch would normally have a plastic piece sticking out that the knob attaches to, right? If so, then I need to replace the start switch in order to have that prong back again. Is it worth doing? Is it hard to do? I hate to get rid of a working dryer for something seemingly as small as that. Thanks!
