Hello and thanks for having a forum for those of us who are not as good with stuff than others.
I have a very big problem and I need to have it fixed because we are wanting to sell our house soon. I once had a puppy and this puppy followed me wherever I went. One day I was about to leave and remembered I had left something in my study, so I went back inside to get it and the puppy followed me into the room without me knowing it. When I closed the door, I still had no idea the puppy was left in the room, so I left. When I returned about four hours later ad caled to the puppy to go outside to do her business, she did not come right away, I looked everywhere with no luck and then I remembered I had returned to my study and when I opened the door, there she was, sooo glad to see me.
This is the problem I need help for. She had tried to dig her way out of the room under the door. The room is/was carpeted and the seam was under the door. She dug the carpet seam apart and just tore the carpet up, all of the carpet fibers were torn up right there at the door.
Well, since then, we have installed laminate flooring in the living room and hallway into the room.
Does anyone have an idea how to splice a piece of carpet
together without tearing out the whole room?
One person said they would cut the bad piece of carpet out and then splice the good carpet with a piece of carpet I had left over from the laminate installation.
I sure would like someone to explain also how to make the transfer from laminate flooring to carpet and lanolium.
Sorry for the rambling, just trying to set the scene on how it looked.

seam it together and stretch it. trim it and tuck it.
