I just inherited a family heirloom - a beautiful old hutch that has soda stains down the side. The soda is probably Mountain Dew, if that helps at all. The hutch is maple. These are old stains as they are on the side that was tucked up against the wall and my dopey brother that had the hutch didn't pull it out to clean it when the spill happened (:madhell:). I put Liuid Gold on it and let it sit overnight, but not much happened. I'm considering making a baking soda paste and letting that sit on it. Any suggestions? I really appreciate it!
