True Stem 6 gallons
I installed 6 gallons True Stem Honeywell on the Bryant Furnace with heat pump. During the installation (no AFS) I connected C terminal of the True Stem to C terminal of the Bryant furnace which was connected to C terminal of the thermostat, and C terminal of the heat pump. I got noise of not properly working relay (for a short time) and 10 blinks on Call Service LED which means “replace unit”. G terminal of furnace was connected to the GF of True Steam. G terminal of thermostat was connected to GT of True Steam. Then I disconnected True Steam from C terminal and I got 7 blinks of Call Service LED. Then I switched DIP4 to ON position according to the manual. When True Steam tries to Humidify (Humidify indicator erratically blinks) it makes a noise of not properly working relay and finally I get 10 blinks of Call Service LED indicator. Did I burn something?

Is the relay noise in the humidifier, or was it in the furnace?
If it was in the humidifier, than you may have a defective unit.. Contact the dealer that you got the unit from to have it replaced under warranty.
From what I read, you had it wired up right.

Thank you for quick reply, Jay11J
Yes, the noise comes from the humidifier. It sounds like a relay under AC voltage. I was worrying if I possibly damaged the True Steam by wiring all C terminals together without AFS. But AFS will connect C terminal of True Steam to all others anyway. It should not be a problem.
I got this humidifier from PexSupply.com. I’ll call them tomorrow.
Thanks again
