I saw in an earlier post about a problem where a kenmore 80 series will not spin. My problem is just a tad different. It SOMETIMES will spin. Most of the time not. But if I go and leave the lid open and push the sensor that says the lid is closed and change the knob on the top to different stages, sometimes it will spin. Please give me some ideas on what this could be. Thanks!

Lid switch is cracking or going bad, Replace lid switch.
