I did exactly as the box said, "slowly add to cold water". (I'm using Gold Harvest Takenbond) Almost instantly it starts to lump in the cold water:madhell::madhell:, wouldn't it be better to use warm water?? It was impossible to spread on the wall, even using a paste brush, so I dumped it. I still have over 1/2 of a room to do. Should I have used a hand mixer (beater type) to mix it??
While I'm at it, how long does it need to dry before papering?? The box doesn't say. This is a multi purpose mix, it supposedly can be used as sizing AND (or) as a paste on the back of the paper.:wall:
