How many main beams are in a splitfoyer. I would like to open up my kitchen.

can you provide more info? Do you mean a split foyer as a house model? did you check the framing plans? did you check with the engineer? How do you intend to open up the kitchen?

Agree with previous post. Is there any unfinished space where you could get a peak of how the framing was done?
