I would like to tile my basement floor but i am not sure what is a good tile thickness to use, i don't want the tile cracking and breaking..
do i need to do anything else special when putting tile down on concrete basement floors???

The thickness is not that important if installed properly.
If there are cracks in the slab or they occur, they will be reflected up through the tile. - Tile is not structural, but only a finish.

this tile is also going around my pool table,
my husband had me place one of the tile on the floor and drop a pool ball on to it and it cracked, thats why he is worried about the thickness?
