I have a Kenmore # 17439 Dishwasher(portable) that I have problems with.

A while back, It would shut off the wall circuit breaker when it was filling with water. I was advised to disconnect the water inlet valve 2 wire connector and turn on the dishwasher to see if it still kicked the breaker. I did that and the breaker did not kick off.
SO< I bought the Water Inlet Valve Part NEW(#8274220) and installed it.
Now when I turn on the dishwasher, nothing happens except I can hear the timer go thru all the cycles without the dishwasher doing anything. Once it has gone thru the cycles and reaches the "OFF" point, it THEN kicks the breaker.
I am at a loss as to what to ck now.
I do have wiring diagram available if needed here.

THanks in advance

If you can hear it than it is a mechanical timer and I would suspect that being the porblem.Water solinoid not opening, water level switch not allowing pump to work, drain solinoid not opening, timer going back to standby. FIRST make sure power is off!! Than look for shorted wiring or [if you can see them] broken/welded peices in timer or control panel.
