Help, I am trying to wire a Honeywell TruSteam (HM512DG115) with a TrueIAQ humidstat to a Trane Heatpump (4TEE3F49B1000AA) that is run by a Trane Thermostat (made by American Standard for Trane I believe, TH8320). We wired everything up according to the diagrams, but nothing works. The humidifier comes turns on but doesn't fill up with water. We have it hooked up to an airflow switch so it doesn't run with no airflow, however when the heat was on, it still didn't trigger. We also ran the wire from the humidstat to the thermostat fan blower so it would link in. Any ideas? If anyone has a wiring diagram that would help greatly. Thanks.

Did you check to be sure the water valve is on, and have water going to the humidifier?
this how it should be wired up.
IAQ-----Steamer
HUM-----HUM
HUM-----HUM
R---------24v
C---------24v
Steamer----------
C------------C on Air Handler.
GT-----------G on t-stat. (G from t-stat should NOT go to the air handler)
R/Rt---------R on Air Handler
GF-----------G on Air Handler
this how it should be wired up.
