Hi,
I have a pretty simple question I think but for the life of me i can't figure it out. I have a new home, built a little over a year ago. Our drains drain slow and have been trying to figure out if there is some hair clogging them or what. I can't figure out how to pull the middle stopper thing out of my vanity sinks???? Same question goes for my tub but that stopper is a little different. It twists, but I still can't figure out how to get it off? Anyone have any ideas? I think they are all American Standard fixtures.
Thanks.

without seeing your sink drains most have a nut attaching the rod to the drain under the sink. the tub drain most likely needs to be in the closed position to unscrew it
