I am looking installing a small bathroom vanity called a single jackson petite sink chest (http://www.tradewindsimports.com/popup_image.php?type=D&id=16392&title=19%22%20Single%20Jackson%20Petite%20Sink%20Chest&area=C).
(you can see the one I'm talking about in the link as a reference)
Since it's not that large and there is a large dog in the house I am installing it in I want to attach it to the floor.
Does anyone know the best way to permanently attach a small bathroom vanity with very small feet like this one to the floor?

What kind of flooring? I mean, a good adhesive caulk under each leg would prob work, but why not attach it to the wall?

Hi Mkherald734,
I'd fasten the vanity to the wall, not to the floor, using a couple of "L" Angles (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100375377&N=10000003+502296+90401&marketID=90401&locStoreNum=8125) --> installed at the bottom of the vanity, they are not visible. The image shows an example and probably not the right size--> You will get them at any hardware store

Well I am planning on attaching it to the wall, but this is a really big dog and it's restless. I want to attach it to the floor as well for added stability.

Big dogs, big people, whats the difference.:D Make sure the vanity is shimmed level and secure it to the wall. You should be fine with that.

I would think that attaching it to the wall would be enough, but it's up to you. How you would attach it to the floor really depends on the type of flooring.

I am under the impression that, if the wall attachments don't do the work, an adhesive will be useless
You can, of course use the same L angles to attach the back side of the front legs to the floor. Of course, there will be holes in the floor
