Can anyone assist me. I have an Ademco Vista 15P Alarm system that I cancelled central monitoring on a few months ago and am getting the FC ( Comm Failure) message. I would like to be able to clear this and just use the system as an intrusion alert without monitoring service. I have read the threads about the Vista 20P and would like to know If the same process can be used for the 15p. After powering down and back up can someone please provide instructions on how to clear the "Fc" message and include instructions on how to clear the phone number to dial? Also, should I disconnect the phone jack type line that is in the control box?
I would be so grateful for any assistance.

The Vista 15p and 20p even share an installer manual, so any instructions for one applies to the other (the only difference is the number of zones and keypads they support).
Yes, the instructions in FAQ sticky apply.

Ok Thanks - I did not see the actual steps for "Removing the phone numbers that call the central office" after entering the installer code. Will the phone number just be displayed and have to be deleted? If so, what do I press to delete the number?
Also, Should I disconnect the phone-type jack from inside the control(wiring) box?
Thanks so much for assistance.

From the sticky "Alarm Forum FAQ (please read before posting)"
To turn off the dialer on _most_ Honeywell/Ademco panels (and clones):
Once in programming enter *41* and *42*. This erases the dial out phone numbers and turns off the dialer. Check your install manual, there are a few obscure models that the phone numbers are in a different location.
