My 11 years old side by side refrigerator doesn't work anymore, I'm thinking to transform it into an storage unit or something like that, i'm open to any ideas to let us keep it. Thanks

Probably best just to scrap it; the size and weight will make it pretty inefficient as a storage unit, plus it would be best to recover the refrigerant before it starts leaking.

I agree with The Tow Guy. Best to take it to the landfill for recycling.
