We moved into a house last April that had new vinyl flooring installed in the kitchen. We have not noticed any problems until yesterday, when I noticed a fairly large air bubble pretty much in the center of the floor, where it has separated from the slab or subfloor.
My first question is what would cause this? Is it moisture (my fear, since we had quite a bit of rain lately)?
2nd question is how to get rid of the bubble and adhere vinyl back to slab or subfloor?

New Vinyl will bubble on occasion, many times it goes out within a few days, if it does not, and I hope it has by now.
Take a large needle and put in right at the (grout) pattern joint and squeeze the air out, the glue should reseat itself to the back of the vinyl.
When you are done, take the needle tip and push the hole back down tight on itself.
Good luck and I hope it has been fixed already or dissipated
