I have purchased a Vista 15p system which was taken out of a home prior to demo. How do access and clear the old codes to begin a new setup? (6150RF keypad)

If you are planning to make any changes to the zones, you are going to need a 6160 keypad to access the programming menus.

Otherwise, you can use the * + # method to get into programming and extract the installer code. Then you use the installer code to set a new master code. The master code is then used to make sure any of the secondary codes are cleared out.

Do you have the installer manual? All of this is in it. You can also refer to the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum topic list.

Thanks! I have ordered a 6160 alpha numeric keypad. I have already installed the 15P panel and 6150 Rf keypad which is needed for the wireless components. Can I disconnect the 6150, connect the 6160 in its place to program and then replace the 6150 afterwards? Or is there an easier way?

I should have read other posts before and not after... I needed to purchase the 6160rf!

Naw. Leave the 6150rf installed, set the 6160 to address 17 and activate that address in system programming. You can have up to 8 keypads on this thing. You can either hook up the 6160 temporarily to program, or you can install it permanantly elsewhere in the house.
