I just installed a tub wall kit. When installing the greenboard I left a 1/4 inch gap above the tub flange to pervent wicking. When installing the walls I filled the area just behind the tub wall with silicone. The wall kit has been up for about a week.

When preparing to silicone between the tub and the wall I have movement on the bottom. I was hoping the silicone would keep the bottom of the wall kit from moving. Not only does it move, it also seems as though the silicone is not dry behind the wall.

I was able to kind of pull the tub wall out a bit, but should I press the wall against the tub flange/silicone behind it before siliconing the outer portion or just silicone it as it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
J
