I am trying to install a TrueSTEAM humidifier with TrueIAQ to an older furnace that does not have an input for G, Y, or C. As far as I can figure out it is not capable of running the fan independantly from the heat.
I would like to setup the TrueIAQ to only turn on when the furnace is running but without needing to hookup GF to the furnace (normally hooked to G).
Currently I have to set dipswitch 4 to on in order for the humidifier to function. With dipswitch 4 in the off position error code 7 is thrown.
I have ISU 25 set to 2. In any other configuration the humidification system does not run.
In its current configuration the humidifier runs all of the time (regardless of whether the furnace/fan is on or not).
From the thermostat to the TrueIAQ I have G wired to GT.
From the furnace to the TrueIAQ I have wired R to R
From the thermostat to the furnace R is wired to R and W is wired to W.
Thanks for the help.

How old is the furnace about? Make and model as well?
Do you have A/C on it?
