I have a NAPCO Gemini GEM-P3200 alarm with three keypads. I was having a problem with one of my two PIRs so I decided to replace it. The malfunctioning PIR was a NAPCO PIR1500 but the alarm store didn't have that model and he gave me a Honeywell Ademco Aurora instead which he said was 100% compatible.
I removed the old PIR taking note of the four wires and where they were connected (RED="+", BLK="-", GRN='NC', YLW='C'). I then realized that I needed to paint the location since the new PIR is smaller than the old one. Anyway, painted the spot and then climbed down from the ladder. I then noticed that ALL of the three keypads are dark.
I checked the RED & BLK wires at the PIR location with a meter and it showed no voltage. I checked at the control panel and the power in from the transformer was reading ~16.5VAC and the battery voltage was good (I just replaced it a month ago anyway). I checked all four fuses on the control panel for continuity (without removing them) and all show good.
I am at a complete loss as to what has gone wrong with the alarm and how to repair it. Again, the only thing that I touched was the PIR and the four wires attached to it. Any and all help would be most appreciated. My alarm is DEAD and I feel like a dope.
Thanks!

Most likely, you shorted the power to one of the ground/common connections, and popped the fuse on the main board.
Look in the center of the main board in the box where the battery is. One of the 3 little glass cartrige fuses in the middle has blown. Most likely the one marked for Aux power.

Blown fuse- that was it! Now I feel like a BIGGER dope! :wall: At least the alarm works now...
BTW, the fuse that blew was "F2- Remote Power".
MANY thanks for the assistance!
PS: Anybody know if you can use an AGA-3 32V fuse in place of an AGA-3 125V fuse?

Yeah, that fuse will be fine. You have a 12v system.
