:wall:My churches Carrier Gas furnace (48GX-60115301) main board blinks 6 times suggesting my problem is a "blower motor fault". I can manually turn this on at the thermostat but the furnace will not start automatically nor heat in manual.
Does anyone have experience with this issue? I cannot find an owners manual nor a copy of the electrical schematic on the internet. Thanks for your help!! Steve::coffee:

There is usually a wiring diagram on the inside of the blower door.

To the poster,
I still think the furnace should start though. What probably happened is the blower did not work, so then the furnace high limited, and then you may have had to shut off and restart the furnace, to get it going again - and maybe you did not know that.
But you will still have to find out if the blower is seized up from bearings, bad motor windings, simply a bad capacitor, etc.
If you stop back, we can probably get quite speciific here in helping you out. For some reason though, I have this gut feeling that you have either solved it, perhaps with the assistance of various church know-it-alls, or got someone else to fix it since it was Sunday yesterday. Sunday...church.........

You probably have a bad circuit board.
There are seperate relay contacts for heating speed and A/C speed.
With the thermostat fan switch in the on mode the fan motor is energized in the A/C ( high ) speed.
With it in the auto setting then the furnace circuit board has control has control at a lower speed setting.
The relay is bad and that causes the relay to overheat and burn the solder off the back side of the circuit board.
DON'T resolder the board - replace it.
If you decide to resolder the board it will burn up the entire board and fill your house with smoke.
