I have an electric furnace that will not turn off. When the breaker is turned on the furnace and one element come on right away even with the t stat disconnected.
Any thoughts would help.

Sounds like a sequencer is bad or stuck. My daughter's did the same thing. If you know anything electrical there should be a diagram inside the cover. If it is old getting the right part will be fun. It's most likely the first one, just remove it and go to a HVAC supply store and they can match it. Remember to turn all the power to the system off first.
