:confused:I had to use a snake on one of my toilets and being in a hurry I did not use a barrier to protect the enamel.Does anyone know if it is possible to touch up or repair the damage done by the metal to the enamel. My significant other was complaining about the damage.Any help would be much appreciated.

It's possible that you didn't actually damage the porcelain and just left metal marks. If so, then scouring power and a Scotchbrite pad should clean it up. If you did damage the porcelain then the only cure may be a new toilet.

Use any kind of toilet bowl cleaner and let it soak overnight. The rub marks will come right out.

would have been best if you used the proper tool for the job such as a closet/toilet auger
