I have a fuel oil burning furnace that is about 30 years old. I am having to prime the unit every time I use it. It runs and heats up fine, but when it gets to temperature and shuts off, it will not re-light on its own. I've heard my injectors could be dirty, but I'd like a better idea before I try to tear into it.

Is the tank inside or out? One line or two line?
If you have to prime it every time, then I would take a look at the fuel filter to start.
