Seems like this has been discussed previously but I need some help in removing the push type stopper so as to access the drain to clean a stoppage. The stopper has a black rubber suction piece and the stopper is pushed down to hold water and pushed down again to release water from the tub. I put this in about a year ago (screwed in to the crosspiece in the drain) and now I can't seem to unscrew it or remove it. I get the top of the stopper off and it reveals a large screw head. I am unable to turn this screw to remove the stopper. Any suggestions for getting this stopper removed?
