Hi,

I have a VisionPro IAQ w/ EIM and a 12 gallon TrueSteam that I will be installing.

The furnace is a Bryant Model # 350AAV

The A/C is a Bryant model # 113a/114a

New Home, Central Ohio, 3800 SQ ft. 5 level split (looks like 2 story from outside), completed Sept. 2007

As far as I can tell, I would wire the EIM and Furnace this way:

EIM ---- Furnace
C ---- COM 24V
R* ----- R
W1 ----- W
Y ----- Y/Y2
G ---- G

* (factory installed jumpers on EIM at R/RC/RH)

Can I leave the two wires that control the A/C unit connected to the Furnace Relay board or should I move those to the EIM?

If I were to the move the A/C wires to the EIM, would this be correct:

EIM --------- A/C unit outside
C --------- White wire to A/C outside
Y --------- Red wire to A/C outside

Is it possible to use my furnace for dehumidifying? If so, would this be the correct wiring:

EIM ------- Add jumper from R/RC/RH to DHM1 (lower left on EIM)
DHM2 ------- DHUM on furnace

I will then add the TrueSteam as follows:
EIM -------- TrueSteam
Hum1 -------- Hum
Hum2 -------- Hum
(I will also set DIP 4 ON (no AFS) all other DIP switches OFF)

As I understand it, having the TrueSteam wired for independent fan contol is a bad idea. Humidification via cold air (blower only) is inefficient. T or F?

I will then wire the outdoor thermometer this way:

EIM --------- Outdoor Thermometer
Out 1 --------- wire from sensor
Out 2 --------- wire from sensor

I will then set the following installer options:

100 – 0 Not Zoned
172 – 1 Conventional
180 – 0 Gas / Oil Furnace controls fan in heating
280 – 1 Backlight on
300 – 1 Auto Change over for those cold mornings (20’s)and warm afternoons (80’s)
330 - 2 DST (US 2007)
342 – 1 Outdoor temp sensor
370 - 1 Internal Sensor in Thermostat
372 – 3 Humidity with Frost protection (Frost setting 5 at VisionPro)
374 – 1 Humidity will Force Fan on
379 – 1 Dehumidify with Air Conditioning
383 – 3 Over cooling limit 1.5
500 – 4 90 runtime days

Thank you for checking my work, I do appreciate it.

Yes, you can leave those on the furnace.

Correct.

Correct.

False. Steam works well with warm or cold air. The flow though type unit don't work well with room air temps.

I will then wire the outdoor thermometer this way:

EIM --------- Outdoor Thermometer
Out 1 --------- wire from sensor
Out 2 --------- wire from sensor
Correct.

I will then set the following installer options:

Looks good. And anything with "E" shown on the screen change it to a number value.

Set the CPH to 3 for both heat and cool.

Set the CPH to 3 for both heat and cool.

I do not seem to be able to set the following:

220 - 3 CPH Cool
240 - 3 CPH Heat

I DO NOT have a Heat Pump, is that why?

220, and 240 should show up on the screen... Are you in the advance installer set up menu, or home owener set up?

User setup =
Press System Key,
Press and Hold Center Blank Key for 5 seconds

Installer Setup =
Press System Key,
Press and hold the two keys on EITHER side of the Center Key for 5 seconds
