Hello!
We're looking to install a bamboo floor in our living room and I have a few questions before I buy...thank you in advance for your help!
1) We've narrowed it down to Hawa and Teragren. I hear nothing but positive things about both, would anybody like to disagree?
2) Your opinion on a layer of cork over the subfloor and under the bamboo, to help keep the floor quiet and provide insulation?
3) The living room ends in a staircase. When I continue the installation down the staircase, I'm guessing I should put underlayment on the treads as well, to prevent people from tripping on the top step (which would otherwise be 5/8" higher than the others)?
