We have removed linoleum that was on top of this beautiful old tile floor. Well, at least most of the linoleum is gone. Now we need to figure out how to get the adhesive out of the grout lines. Any suggestions? I have been going around each tile with a nail but it will be summer by the time I am done. Some of the tile has lost its surface finish, or so it looks. Could we go over the tile with a polyurethane? Or is there something specific for this tile? I dont know if it is ceramic but I have heard of it referred to as terrazzo(?) Any suggestions on this project will be appreciated. The floor isnt real big, almost 6x7. Thanks ahead of time.
