Hi all,

After setting up my a new zone for "24Hr Water", I decided to see if I could get the system to call my cell directly. I checked out the sticky post, and read the manual.

I set up my cell number as the secondary phone in section 302. The primary phone in section 301 is still setup to call my monitoring company.

I tested the call out by dropping some water on the sensor. The alarms goes off, it seems like the phone line is hijacked, and presumably the mon. station is called (I had put my system in "test mode" with the mon. station). However, I never got a call on my cell phone.

Is there a better way to test call outs without sounding the alarm?

Any thoughts on how to get the system to call my cell?

I also programmed the following:

[360]
03 - primary ("DTMF" mode for mon. station)
05 - secondary ("pager mode")

[361-364]
setup bits 1 and 2 to enable primary and secondary phones.
when I started only bit 1 was set in all these sections.

[365] "Partition 1 openings and closings"
I noticed that this is zero here. Not sure why. I would have thought at least bit 1 would be set here to call the monitoring station. I left the section at zero.

[366] "Partition 2 openings and closings"
Here bit 1 is set. I'm pretty sure I only have partition 1 defined. So this section is unused for me I think.

After triggering an alarm, my cell still does not seem to get called. Are there additional sections I need to program?

Thanks! -Glen.

Did you put a HEX F at the end of the "pager" number? It won't work right without it.
