Recently our gas dryer started making strange noises from the heat chamber. Seems that the flame is inconsistent and blows itself out. Big problem is that it is releasing gas into the laundry room after it blows itself out. I tried to turn the incoming valve down to back off the gas pressure, but no change. I took the front off and removed the whole assembly, but not real sure what I am looking at. :o
It this a coil issue? Or is it the gas tube itself?
Any help is appreciated

It sounds like you probably have a bad gas valve. Can you kindly post the model number?
