I have an ADT Safewatch pro system and would like to add an exterior door to the system. I have looked in the panel and currently only using 3 zones. How do I add a fourth zone and program the system? What type of door switch/plunger should I buy that will be compatible with this system. Thanks.

The specifics are going to vary a bit. The "Safewatch Pro Custom" logo on the keypads was used on a number of systems. What model does it say you have on the inside of the motherbord box door?

The door contact is just a switch, so you get the one that fits your actual physical installation situation. (The search phrase is "security system contact".)

This system is a slightly modified Vista 20p system. That's the installer manual you need (websearch using the phrase "Vista 20p installer manual".

If you don't have a 6160 2-line alpha keypad you cannot access the menus it takes to make changes to the zone programming.
