Okay, i got carried away and attempted to change the zone type of my front door to allow entry from there when AWAY.
Of course I got completely lost in the system (no two line panel) and hosed up all my zones trying to exit the *56 menu.
After much research and monkeying, I got all the zone types set correctly and entered a "10" report code in the first two hex digits to enable contact ID reporting (?) for each zone.
As it stands now, I can see all of the arming/disarming activity on my NextAlarm log, but when I test trip the alarm for any zone, it fails to report those events. The only thing I see is an "Arm" before tripping, and a "disarm" following tripping.
Is there some specific code I need to enable alarm event reporting??
really need some help here.:wall:
thks,
joe

No, if you have the report code set for the zone, it should be transmitting. There _is_ a built in delay on the dialer report. If you disarm within 20-30 seconds of tripping the zone, the dialer never sends the alarm report.
