I have an old clawfoot bathtub with a more modern faucet (80s, probably) that has a mount point for a shower riser on top of it. Today I installed a new shower riser and the riser is leaning back at about a 15 degree angle. The faucet looks pretty level and fairly well installed. I was wondering if this is a problem with the faucet, its installation, or the mount point, or if I just need a faucet made for a clawfoot bathtub.
Is there any way I can fix it without trying to tweak the shower riser itself, which, I should add, is perfectly straight and exhibits no other problems. Everything works as normal, just the riser is leaning over the edge of the bathtub.
Thanks,
m+

can you post a picture for us please? usually if the faucet is level the riser should be plumb but it could be a defect or something else

Sorry this doesn't have to do with the previous question, but I'm hoping some people familiar with clawfoots will be able to help. I'm setting up a tub I purchased about a year ago and can't figure out how to attach the feet. I'm assuming that I'm missing a part, but I can't figure out an alternative.
The tub has a projection from the bottom about an inch long that has a hole in it. The foot has a tongue with an opening to slide over the projection. I'd post pics but this page won't let me. Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
jim

First off, the easiest way to post pics here is to upload them to a photo hosting site such as photobucket.com and then posting the link to the pics here.
Secondly, most clawfoot tubs I have seen just slip into place as sometimes they tend to fall off during transit. But there could be different styles
