Just how far must I go? Just wanted to update a bit - that caused me to finally look at the bathroom - the tile?

Maybe it needs to go.
How do you get rid of tiled floor?

and that wallpaper? Put up by a master wallpaper-er! I really don't believe a little water going to make it come loose! It survived two teenagers and their steam baths!!!
Any thoughts?

Time to break out the hammer and chisel! No, really. You gotta EARN the tile removal.
For the wallpaper you can use this little roller thing that perforates the paper, then spread paper remover and let it sit to loosen the glue, then scrape the paper off the wall with a wide blade. I don't know what the roller thing is called, but you can find it at a home improvement store. Just ask for it in the wallpaper aisle.
