Both of my Allister Garage Door Openers stopped working, after a lightning storm that took out several other items around my house. There is no problem with power to the units. I just replaced the Motor Control board in one of the units with no luck, & was wondering if anyone could give me any tips ? or a direction to get schematics ?
Thanks much Nanc

If you replace the motor control board, only thing that comes to mind are the limit switches and the safety photo-cells.
I would lean more towards the photo-cells if you had a surge, it probably popped those. Most have indicator lights on them so you could possibly check those to see if they're operating correctly.
Here is a link for a manual and parts.
