Is there any specifics that i need to know about drywalling a ceiling in a boiler/furnace room at a condo. Like drywall thickness, fireproof, moisture resistent ect. can any one help. I need to get it started

It would be best to check with the local codes [inspector,permit office] I'm not up on the codes but do know they tend to vary with locales. While it's possible regular drywall will meet code, more than likely you will need to use 5/8" firerock. I have worked in areas where they required double thick [joints staggered] 5/8" drywall for fire resistance.

Marksr thanks for the reply i will do that i did get the 5/8 firerock will try and stagger joints
