Looking to install 2nd keypad in bedroom (existing pad in kitchen). Panel is NX-6V2 (has no outside monitoring activation). Is this something a DIY can accomplish that has reasonable skills. If so, what panel terminals should be used to connect new keypad. Secondly, I have motion detector in bedroom and will need to deactivate unit at night to realize instant system activation (62 yr old bladder issue). Can this be done. Many thanks for the advice.

If you have your system installer code, then yes, it's pretty easy. Websearch using the phrase "NX-6V2 installer manual".
and "NX-6V2 user manual".

The new keypad would connect to the same terminals as the existing keypad.

If your system was properly configured, your motion should be in interior device and will automatically bypass if you arm in stay mode.
