I need help programing a nx4 system.
I am in Costa Rica however the system was bought new in the USA so that should not be a problem.
I have 6 motion detectors drawing power from the keypad + and the siren -. They work on a walk thru test. They are connected with a resistor on the zone terminals with zone 1 and 2 having one each and zone 3 and 4 having two each. Zone 1 covers the entry door where the keypad is located.
After looking thru the 42 pages of instructions and trying various programing I have the system TOTALLY screwed up.
My question is..... Can someone tell me how to clear the programing so I can start over and can someone give me step by step buttons to push to achive the desired results which are..
1: When exiting be able to enter my code to arm the system Code desired is 1240
2: have an exit delay
3: entry delay on zone 1
4: enter my code (1240) to disarm system

That's all I want to do.Simple exit and enter coding.

Thanks for your help on this.

You are asking for a lot of information that is already in your installer manual.

At the end of the section on how the basic programming syntax works there is a section titled "Loading Factory Defaults". You go go to program with *8 [installer code] then ener 910# and wait about 10 seconds for it to reload the factory defaults.

In both your user and installer manual, there are sections on Changing User Codes.

You enter *5 [master code] + [2 digit user code number] + [new code] + #. (the master code is 01, if you are trying to change it from the default).
